- INSTALLATION -
General Requirements
．Temperature: Keep room temperature at least 15 °C and subfloor at least 10 °C.
．Subfloor: Ensure the ground is flat, clean, dry, and structurally sound.
．Acclimatization: Let the materials sit in the room before starting work.
Carpet Tiles and Planks
．Center Lines: Draw a lengthwise center line and a perpendicular cross line; start laying tiles at the exact center intersection.
．Dry Layout: Lay out tiles edge-to-edge without glue first to check cuts and reduce waste.
．Adhesive: Apply an approved tackifier or solvent-free acrylic emulsion adhesive uniformly, allowing it to tack up before pressing tiles edge-to-edge
- MAINTENANCE -
Balsan carpet maintenance requires regular vacuuming, spot cleaning with absorbent powder, and deep cleaning for high-traffic zones.
Routine Maintenance
．Vacuum weekly: Use a mechanical rotating brush vacuum 1 to 2 times a week for standard cut piles.
．Switch nozzles: Use a flat-nozzle vacuum specifically for looped woolen carpets to protect the fibers.
．Daily high-traffic upkeep: Vacuum high-walk areas in commercial or hotel spaces daily to stop dust accumulation.
Deep Cleaning and Stains
．Absorbent powder: Sprinkle powder by hand on busy entrances or corridors, work it into the pile with a brush or machine, and vacuum out per instructions.
．Stain defense: For solution-dyed polyamide (Full Colors / ECONYL) lines, use targeted deep-clean or heavy-duty textile maintenance agents on stubborn spills like coffee or mud safely.
